Let’s build homes, community, opportunity, and stability on the Eastside — together

Dear Friends,

In 2025, Imagine Housing continued to collaborate with individuals like you, as well as city and county staff, elected officials, and multiple faith-based communities. It is through these collaborations that Imagine Housing remains a vital member of the Eastside community.

As a member of this community, you know the need for affordable housing is immense. We are challenging ourselves to meet those needs across the Eastside. Through partnerships, creative solutions, and supporters like you, Imagine Housing is poised to double the number of units and, therefore, residents served, over the next five years.

Together, we continue to scale our efforts to meet the region’s critical need for affordable housing, ensuring that the high-opportunity Eastside cities where we live, work, and play remain welcoming, diverse, and vibrant for residents of all income levels.

Because of your support, 1,572 individuals—including seniors, veterans, those living with disabilities, and working parents—had a stable place to call home last year. In the pages of this annual report, you will see exactly how your generosity is transforming our community, building stability, and changing lives.

Thank you for supporting a vibrant community that helps to strengthen the Eastside one home at a time, one neighbor at a time.

With gratitude,

Yi Zhao

Meet Nathan

When Nathan thinks back to when he was younger, he thinks about the kind of life he wants for his daughters and the young people he hopes to help one day. After a childhood he describes as “very dark… very scary,” Nathan spent years carrying the weight of trauma into adulthood. The consequences were profound: instability, homelessness, and estrangement from his ex-wife and daughters.

Now, he has stable housing, the support of an Imagine Housing Case Manager, and a community that believes in him.

"This is a place where I can add tools to my toolbox, and I'm really looking forward to using those new tools."

Here's the rest in his own words...
