An Imagine Housing Valentine to You!

2020 – what a year! Lots of challenges, but your support helped us provide more than 1,400 veterans, seniors, former foster youth, families, and formerly homeless individuals with a safe, permanent, and affordable home in 2020. The outpouring from generous community members like you enabled us to provide much-needed resources to those most affected by COVID-19.

Highlights from 2020 include:

Over 21,500 basic needs items distributed to residents at our 15 apartment communities by our amazing front-line case managers.

6,425 case management direct service hours provided to residents needing assistance (a 66% increase over 2019).

$311,800 in rental assistance raised directly from individual donors for residents affected by the COVID-19 economic downturn.

Almost 3,400 volunteer hours of service bringing meals to residents, sorting child-care supplies, and participating in advocacy opportunities.
The successful implementation of the Resident Emergency Assistance Fund, which provides financial support for those experiencing an unexpected financial expense.
12,503 meals and 2,066 pounds of fresh vegetables via our non-profit partners distributed by our case managers.
Building more affordable housing, such as Capella in Redmond, scheduled to open in 2021 and another senior community, Samma in Bothell, which is expected to break ground in 2022.
Giving each resident a $25 gift card in December to help ease the burden of holiday expenses.
Bringing together the mayors of Bellevue, Issaquah, Bothell, Redmond and Kirkland for Affordable Housing Week to discuss current affordable housing efforts and reaffirm their commitment to a more inclusive Eastside.

On behalf of all our residents, we thank you for continuing to support affordable housing on the Eastside.
